 FAQs

  • For those who don't know, a RAW file is a large, uncompressed image file that contains the raw data captured by a digital camera. These files are considered to base "ingredients" of a photo as it contains metadata that allows photographers to edit the photos.

With that description, would a chef serve a chicken dish raw or unbaked bread? No, they wouldn't. That's the same mentality that photographers have when providing their photo services. They don't want that unedited work sent out to be edited differently than their work or style. The only exception is if it's negotiated in the contract for any corporate or commercial work.

  • If you are interested in getting prints from your photoshoot, you are be able to order prints directly from Pic-time (the online photo gallery used to send your photos). A portion of the print  purchase will go directly to the photographer (aka me LOL)

If you plan to sell prints from your photoshoot, you will need to sign a print release contract that allows you to sell the selected amount of photos for one year and pay a one-time fee. The fee is reasonably priced per photo and you are allowed to sell as many photos under the contract's warranty. You are also able to renew this contract yearly.

  • Each shoot has their own edit timeline. A portrait session usually takes a few weeks or a month while a wedding may take over a few months. We will keep you updated on the project's timeline.

  • The photo editing programs used are Lightroom & Photoshop. The retouching is lighting adjustments, color correction, frequency separation, etc. And depending on the shoot, some special effects, lens flare, and image compositing

No body manipulation/distortion in my editing. Aside from blemish removal and light cleanups, we try to keep yourself looking as natural as possible.

  • The photoshoot prices for solo, duo, and group are the same. However if a group shoot has more than 5 people, there will be an extra charges per person. This price raise is for the extra gear and service needed for more photo coverage of the group members.
